Neonatal Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Grandview Medical Center. As a key member of our neonatal care team, you will provide high-quality nursing care to newborns, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
About the RoleThis PRN position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing expert care to vulnerable infants and their families. You will be responsible for examining and treating patients independently, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality nursing care to newborns, including those who are well, at-risk, or critically ill
- Work collaboratively with our neonatologist and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Examine and treat patients independently, using your expertise and judgment to make informed decisions
- Ensure proper illness and injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A master's degree in a relevant field, such as nursing or a related discipline
- Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP)
- State authority for advanced practice
- Familiarity with various concepts, practices, and procedures in the field of neonatology
Grandview Medical Center is a 422-bed regional referral center and tertiary-care facility located in Birmingham, AL. We offer a wide range of medical services, including cardiology, oncology, neurology, women's health, mental health, and emergency care.
Compensation and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement planning, and paid time off.
