As an Inside Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and serving as a trusted advisor to assist them in identifying solutions for their current and future technology requirements. No prior IT experience is necessary; if you are passionate about attracting new clients to Insight, we will provide you with the training you need.
Join our distinguished team of Account Executives and cultivate relationships with clients over the phone. You will create tailored solutions from the widest array of hardware, software, peripherals, and services available in the industry. Furthermore, you will collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, and other sales specialists to manage and expand opportunities within your designated market to meet sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Target new clients with an emphasis on selling IT solutions and consulting on existing IT environments and future requirements.
• Build and manage your own portfolio of clients while driving the complete sales cycle from initial outreach to closing deals.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships within your territory.
• Conduct outbound calls and respond to incoming inquiries.
• Engage with our IT specialists to foster long-term purchasing relationships with organizations of all sizes.
• Cultivate relationships with Insight's partners to leverage leads and finalize business transactions.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years of sales experience is preferred.
• Previous IT experience is not required, but a strong desire to learn about the field is essential.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is advantageous.
• Ability to overcome objections; experience in cold calling is a plus.
• Strong negotiation and listening skills are necessary.
