Clinical Nurse Coordinator Renal Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator Renal to join our team at Mission Hospital. As a key member of our renal unit, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our department.
Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
- Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff.
- Manage all practical aspects of staff labor in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines.
- Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.
- One year of RN experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enroll in a BSN or advanced degree program and obtain a BSN within 5 years of hire date into RN position.
- Must have and maintain current licensure as registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred certifications: National Certification in area of specialty.
