We are seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist CRT PRN, you will be responsible for evaluating the respiratory needs of patients and developing and implementing the Respiratory Care Plan. You will also be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate the respiratory needs of patients and develop and implement the Respiratory Care Plan.
- Apply and operate acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
- Maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
- Set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.
- Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
- Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
