Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled Caregiver / Patient Care Technician to join our team at Providence Express Care. As a key member of our care team, you'll be responsible for providing direct patient care, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Responsibilities- Administer prescribed medications to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN)/(LVN), maintaining accurate medical records.
- Present medication to patients and observe ingestion or administer medication using specified procedures.
- Take vital signs or observe patients to detect response to medication, and report reactions.
- Restock medication inventories.
- Provide direct patient care, ensuring resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
