Job Description

As a Special Caregiver for Outreach Health, you will provide essential support to clients who require assistance with daily living activities. Your role will involve helping clients with personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry, as well as providing companionship and conversation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with grocery shopping
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment
  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients
  • Assist with medication reminders and monitoring health changes

Requirements:


• Must have a minimum of 6 months working experience as a caregiver, or enrolled in a vocational education program, and/or be a certified Nursing Assistant


• Must pass a criminal background screening


• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions


• Must be flexible to service several different clients a day


• Must be able to work with limited supervision and on weekends and holidays


• Must comply with applicable healthcare laws and statues (local, state, and/or federal); e.g., protect patient's privacy


• Maintain a valid driver's license and own a legally registered vehicle that holds the minimum liability insurance coverage.


• Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience
