Job OverviewPOSITION: REGIONAL CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

The Regional Construction Supervisor (RCS) is tasked with overseeing and managing a specific segment of the construction project. This position requires proficient coordination and execution of all field management operations, ensuring that objectives related to timelines, financials, safety, quality, and workforce development are achieved. The RCS will guide a team of field engineers and work in partnership with craft supervision and trade collaborators to uphold exceptional standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire the workforce within the designated project segment, promoting a culture of teamwork and responsibility.
  • Organize, coordinate, and supervise field construction tasks to guarantee effective execution, collaborating closely with trade partners to sustain productivity and quality.
  • Facilitate weekly planning and management discussions with trade partners to ensure alignment and address any project obstacles.
  • Implement site-specific safety protocols and best practices, ensuring compliance across all operational areas. Work with foremen to create and assess Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Safety Task Analyses (STAs) for all self-performed tasks, as well as reviewing those from trade partners.
  • Support project scheduling initiatives, managing the four-week look-ahead schedule for the assigned segment to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Maintain precise cost and production records, aiding in the formulation of site utilization and material handling strategies within the designated area.
  • Collaborate with project and office engineers to ensure timely procurement and handling of materials, confirming that received materials meet quantity and quality standards, and that appropriate documentation is submitted to the jobsite administrator.
  • Oversee all quality assurance efforts within the assigned project segment, ensuring compliance with both company and trade partner standards to deliver a superior product.
  • Manage the punch list process to facilitate timely project completion and owner acceptance.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with project stakeholders, including owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners, ensuring high standards of customer service and satisfaction are maintained.
  • Actively engage in project coordination meetings, contributing to pre-planning and scheduling efforts to ensure smooth integration of coordination activities.
  • Assist BIM and VDC engineers in driving timely resolution of issues to keep the submittal process on track.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
  • A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel), Prolog, Primavera, and the AutoDesk Suite.
