Position Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and dedicated individual to take on the role of Facilities Maintenance Supervisor within our thriving property management firm.
The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the overall maintenance operations of the apartment community, which includes conducting repairs, troubleshooting issues, managing apartment turnovers, and executing preventative maintenance tasks.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to join a team of high-performing individuals.
This position will report directly to the Property Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Property Manager to ensure all maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively.
- Maintain open communication with residents, vendors, and the property management team regarding all maintenance services.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations that arise outside of regular hours.
- Address and resolve all outstanding maintenance requests.
- Utilize various maintenance tools and equipment safely, including hand tools, ladders, and landscaping equipment.
- Conduct daily inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and enhance curb appeal.
- Engage outside contractors when necessary and oversee their work to ensure quality and timeliness.
- Assist the Community Manager in obtaining competitive quotes for maintenance-related services.
- Participate in ongoing training and company meetings.
- Adhere to all company policies, including those related to fair housing and safety standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
Qualifications:
- Certification as a master plumber, electrician, or universal HVAC technician.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a respectful team environment.
- Positive attitude and a passion for assisting others.
- A minimum of three years of experience in apartment maintenance.
- Possession of basic tools required for maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation; work vehicle provided.
- Willingness to respond to emergency situations as needed.
