Radiologic Imaging Specialist

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Tolland Imaging Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures and providing exceptional patient care.

**About the Role**

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in radiographic procedures, anatomy, and physics. You will work independently to perform routine radiographic procedures, maintaining high image quality and accuracy. Your attention to detail and ability to work cooperatively with the team will be essential in ensuring seamless operations.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Perform all routine radiographic procedures according to department standards, protocols, and guidelines required by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and the State of Connecticut.
• Provide proper clinical patient care while performing diagnostic procedures.
• Maintain stock levels and personal protection equipment of assigned stations.
• Exhibit constant awareness of infection control standards.

**Requirements**

• A state license to practice radiographic technical procedures or willingness to obtain within 3 months of graduation.
• ARRT certification (or eligible to sit for exam).
• Ability to speak, read, and write using the English language.
• Advanced math skills in physics to understand and set radiologic exposure levels.

**Compensation & Benefits**

• $42.50 per hour (estimated based on industry standards)

**Education & Certification**

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent)
• State of CT License (required) and ARRT Certification (required)
