Responsibilities of the Pediatric Speech Therapist include:
- Delivering services with expertise and professionalism to a diverse age range, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric clients.
- Actively engaging in the development and enhancement of the Department/Clinic, including quality management initiatives.
- Focusing on quality patient care, driven by outcomes, best practices, and mentorship, with all appointments being one-on-one for 45 minutes.
Qualifications for this role include:
- Licensed as a PT/OT/CF-SLP with a preference for candidates with at least one year of experience.
- Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Outpatient Speech Therapists must hold a valid license in their state of employment and be eligible for licensure in another state (license to be obtained within three months of hire).
- Must be trained and certified biennially in BLS Healthcare Provider Level CPR.
- If working in the Outpatient Department, the therapist is expected to work a minimum of two evenings per week unless otherwise approved by regional outpatient directors.
