Position Overview

This role is pivotal in delivering comprehensive treasury solutions to our commercial and business banking clientele. The Treasury Management Officer is tasked with identifying, analyzing, and promoting Treasury Services products to both established business customers and prospective clients. In this capacity, the officer collaborates closely with commercial relationship managers and other line of business leaders to consult on key opportunities, providing specialized product expertise to ensure optimal solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and nurture robust client relationships, focusing on generating new business that enhances service fees and deposits.
  • Evaluate customer requirements and propose suitable engagement strategies.
  • Accountable for driving revenue growth, cultivating a new business pipeline, and managing active client interactions.
  • Establish strong partnerships with key business stakeholders to enhance client penetration and increase the treasury services market share.
  • Offer consultative support to clients and internal partners regarding the utilization and sales of Treasury Services products.
  • Deliver relevant training to clients concerning new product implementation and onboarding for new relationships.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge of banking products and internal systems.
  • Provide market insights regarding industry trends, product deficiencies, and competitive dynamics.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with product, operations, and client service teams to enhance client experiences.
Organizational Structure

This position reports directly to the Manager of Treasury Management Services.

Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial services sales, particularly in Treasury Services or Cash Management.
  • CTP designation is preferred.
Knowledge & Skills
  • In-depth understanding of Treasury Services and Cash Management products.
  • Proven ability to sell financial services effectively.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to identify and respond to sales opportunities and deliver compelling presentations.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Collaborative team player capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Compensation

The salary for this position will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, and certifications. This role is also eligible for an incentive compensation plan or a discretionary profit-sharing bonus program.
