About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Camden Clark Medical Center. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgical team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team during operative procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients.
  • Utilize quality aseptic technique to maintain a sterile field and prevent infection.
  • Perform sponge, instrument, and needle counts to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
  • Assist with gowning and gloving surgeons, positioning equipment, and passing sterile instruments.
  • Monitor inventory, order, and restock supplies, instruments, and equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to provide exceptional patient care and support.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse, completion of a Surgical Technology program, or completion of a summer surgical tech extern program.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and two (2) years of previous scrub experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 40-pounds and push/pull heavy loaded carts up to 200 lbs.
  • Capable of prolonged periods of standing and walking.
