Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technician to join our team at Addiction and Mental Health Services, LLC. As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their path to recovery from substance abuse.

Job Summary:

The Behavioral Health Technician will assist in the delivery of high-quality care to patients in our addiction treatment program. This includes assisting patients with daily activities, monitoring their progress, and providing support and guidance as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist patients with daily activities, such as medication administration and meal preparation.
  • Monitor patients' progress and report any concerns to the treatment team.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients, helping them to overcome their addiction and achieve their recovery goals.
  • Assist with patient transportation and activities, such as outings and group therapy sessions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and progress.
  • Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge in addiction treatment and recovery support.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Sciences preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and treatment team members.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and confidential records, and to report concerns and progress to the treatment team.
  • Physical ability to perform duties, including standing, walking, and lifting, as required.
