Primary Responsibilities

In this role, you will take responsibility for interior design projects, develop functional requirements and project design complexities, and demonstrate substantial knowledge of interior design and planning principles, building and planning code requirements, specification preparation and organization, construction costs and methods, and contract preparation and negotiation.

You will also be responsible for selecting interior details, materials, color selections, furniture and furnishings selections, lighting design, space planning, and detailing. Additionally, you will take responsibility for assignments with specified objectives that require investigation of many alternatives, work with clients on projects of various size, and direct work efforts of others.

Required Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture or Interior Design is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience. You may also be required to have an NCIDQ exam, ID certificate or license in the state where the office is located. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop is also necessary, as well as strong oral and written communication skills and experience working on large project teams.

The expected compensation range for this position is $73,560.00 annually, depending on skills, experience, education and geographical location.
