About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist-Clinical Staff PRN II to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing age-specific pharmaceutical care and basic clinical services for assigned patient care areas.
Key Responsibilities- Manage medication orders, ensuring medication safety through age-specific considerations.
- Participate in pharmacotherapeutic plan processes and contribute to goals, programs, and report cards for the unit/department/hospital.
- Supervise and direct healthcare team members, processing and preparing sterile products for dispensing.
- Provide drug information, education, and participate actively on inter and intra-departmental committees.
- Maximize safety and efficiency through appropriate use of automation.
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).
- Preferred: One year of hospital pharmacy experience.
- Licensure, Registration, Certification: PHARMACIST-FOR APPROPRIATE STATES.
