Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of air traffic control specialists and provide guidance and support as needed
  • Plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinate employees
  • Set work priorities and schedules, and approve leave
  • Evaluate the performance of employees and recommend performance ratings
  • Communicate and reinforce diversity and EEO policies and programs
  • Support and participate in the labor management partnership process
Requirements
  • US Citizenship is required
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959
  • Must submit an SF50
  • Designated or Random Drug Testing required
Qualifications
  • Candidates must show specialized experience in air traffic control or a related field
  • Must have held an FAA 2152 FV-J/FG-14 or above regional or headquarters positions for at least 1 year
  • Must have been facility rated or area certified for at least 1 year at an ATS facility
Working Conditions

This position is covered by the Department of Transportation's Drug and Alcohol Testing Program. Any applicant tentatively selected for this position will be subject to pre-employment or pre-appointment drug screening.
