Job Title: Colon and Rectal Surgeon

Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine Department of Surgery is seeking a highly skilled Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join its team with a dual appointment at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) and the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care for patients with benign and malignant colorectal disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, anorectal conditions, and functional disorders.
  • Collaborate with oncologists, urogynecologists, gynecologic oncologists, and gastroenterologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using laparoscopy and robotic surgery, with a focus on endoscopy and multidisciplinary programs.
  • Teach and mentor general surgery residents, promoting clinical excellence, teaching, scholarly activity, and institutional service.
  • Contribute to clinical research and participate in leadership positions within the Division, as opportunities arise.
