Colon and Rectal Surgeon

Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine Department of Surgery is seeking a skilled Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join its team with a dual appointment at Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) and the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital.

The clinical program at Loyola is comprehensive and includes treatment of benign and malignant colorectal disease, inflammatory bowel diseases, anorectal conditions, and functional disorders.

Candidates should be board certified/eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery and General Surgery and demonstrate a dedication to clinical excellence, teaching, scholarly activity, and institutional service.

Teaching and mentoring of general surgery residents is essential. Clinical research is strongly encouraged. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and at the assistant or associate professor levels.
