BrightStar Care is seeking a dedicated LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality care to our clients. As a LPN, you will be responsible for providing care according to the patient's plan of care, assisting with daily tasks, and conducting ongoing assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing care according to the patient's plan of care
  • Assisting with daily tasks, including wound care, injections, and assessments
  • Conducting ongoing assessments and participating in health/therapeutic counseling
  • Assisting RN with client discharge or transfer
  • Recognizing and instituting emergency measures when necessary

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or GED
  2. Current Ohio LPN License in good standing
  3. BLS Certification
  4. Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
  5. Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
  6. Empathy for the needs of the client
  7. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively
  8. Treats clients, staff, and the public with courtesy, respect, and presents a positive public image
  9. Works as a team member
  10. Ensures confidentiality and security of the client's medical information
  11. Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull, with varied assistance depending on the mobility of the client
