Position Overview:
The Physician Assistant is tasked with performing comprehensive clinical assessments, identifying medical issues, formulating diagnostic and therapeutic strategies, and providing patient education in specialized fields. This role also includes mentoring new staff, engaging in quality improvement initiatives, and delivering educational programs for both the community and healthcare professionals.

Supervision:
The Physician Assistant operates under the guidance of a licensed physician at all times.

Educational Requirements:
Mandatory:
  • Master's degree in a relevant field
Specialization:
Mandatory:
  • Training as a Physician Assistant
Professional Experience:
Preferred experience in the Operating Room, particularly with Endoscopic Vein Harvesting techniques.

Required Certifications:
Mandatory:
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
