AP Health is seeking a highly experienced Physician Assistant to join our team. A successful candidate would have at least 2+ years of experience in cardiac surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Functions as a Surgical First Assistant in the Operating Room
  • Positions and drapes the patient under the direction of the surgeon
  • Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH)
  • Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
  • Daily inpatient rounds in ICU and stepdown units
  • Rotating weekend and night CVOR coverage

Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience functioning as a surgical first assist
  • Current Florida State License
  • Board certified by NCCPA
  • Active BLS and ACLS
