This role acts as the primary finance contact for clients, responsible for managing the client financial life cycle. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Main Responsibilities:
35% Client Budgets
- Manage client budgets, ensuring authorized budgets are received and verified in our media buying systems.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis and track pacing of campaigns.
- Validate compliance of contractual obligations and identify solutions to accommodate client requests.
- Create and maintain the client deliverable calendar and work with internal teams to ensure key dates are met.
- Steward the client's budget through the lifecycle, inclusive of quality control of media buys and partner with cross-functional internal groups to educate teams on best practices.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as their primary finance contact at the agency.
- Prepare and lead monthly finance status calls with clients to review the overall financial health of the account and address any concerns.
- Support the implementation of sound business management policies and practices.
- Contribute to monthly managing partner status calls and prepare and issue burn reports.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong analytical and project management skills.
- Excel skills, including advanced functions.
- The ability to speak to financial concepts.
You are:
- An effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
- A naturally curious problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions.
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
- 5+ years of client-facing experience, preferably in the media industry.
- Prior client management experience preferred.
- Understanding of accounting principles.
