Be a Produce Expert:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of produce products, collaborating with cross-functional teams and educating associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Provide exceptional customer service, communicating effectively and developing interpersonal skills. Be flexible to adapt to the needs of the business, working in other areas, tracking goods, maintaining in-stock levels, and controlling shrinkage in a timely manner.

Be a Quality Control Specialist:

Understand the processes and specifications related to produce quality, preparing products according to established standards, maintaining product safety, and adhering to company sanitation guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.

Be a Digital Champion:

Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality with the member in mind. Adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Be an Owner and Leader:

Drive the performance of the area, utilizing digital tools, perpetual inventory management techniques, and quality and date control standards. Eliminate waste, guide peers, and provide attention to customer needs. Assist customers according to company policies and procedures.

Be a Talent Ambassador:

Be an advocate for the department and the club, valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products. Execute the basics at the highest possible level of quality and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, using the Open Door Policy, and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Complete work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
