About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound services to patients, working closely with our radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures as ordered by physicians, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring timely and efficient communication with healthcare teams.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.

Requirements:

  • Current Ultrasound registry through the ARDMS required.
  • OB Sonography experience preferred, with MFM experience a plus.
  • Graduate of an accredited program for radiographers or ultra-sonographers.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent standing, bending, and lifting of patients and equipment.
