The YMCA of Columbia-Willamette is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the Health Living Department as a Membership Supervisor. This role is responsible for overseeing all membership components and leadership within the West Region to ensure membership goals and objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities- Membership Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement a membership marketing, sales, engagement, and retention plan to promote recruitment of new members and retention of existing members.
- Program Development: Develop, produce, and distribute program information necessary to promote YMCA programs.
- Membership Events: Organize membership events at the YMCA and represent the YMCA at community events to promote the YMCA.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise staff team to provide high-quality programming, innovate and implement new programs, and develop and manage successful financial plans.
- Community Engagement: Engage and train staff to provide a high-quality service to members and the community, and develop effective working relationships with service groups, community organizations, and companies.
- Education: College degree in a related field (Recreation Management, Business, etc.) preferred.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in sales, customer service, membership, or related field, and 2 years of supervisory experience in varying capacities.
- Certifications: CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to acquire certifications within 30 days of employment.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation across the West Region.
Work is performed primarily in person, at the Beaverton Family YMCA. There may be times or tasks that virtual work is acceptable. There will be times on-site work required. There will be times when work is performed outside of normal work hours dependent on current programs being offered.
