Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a qualified Truck Driver CDL A Home Daily to join our team in Malakoff, TX. As a SOLO Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight within Texas, operating a Day Cab tractor with a Flatbed trailer, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver freight within Texas, adhering to safety protocols and regulations
  • Operate a Day Cab tractor with a Flatbed trailer, ensuring proper load securement and strapping
  • Maintain accurate records and logs, detecting and eliminating safety hazards
  • Load and unload freight, or assist in the loading/unloading process as required by customers
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test, Background and Motor Vehicle check, and DOT physical
  • Provide a valid Class A CDL and endorsements for the position
  • 9 months of verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle within the past 3 years, or 2 years' experience within the last 5 years, or 5 years' experience within the last 10 years
Benefits
  • Competitive pay, with up to $2200 in annual bonuses and more at 2 years
  • 50+ hours per week, with a schedule of Monday – Friday and occasional overnight
  • Start Time: Dispatch 5:00 AM to 6:00 AM
