Job Summary

Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL Class A Daily to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of goods across the country.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination vehicle to transport goods from one location to another.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and safety standards.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload freight, using equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.
  • Communicate with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate routes and schedules.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve driving skills and knowledge of company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • At least 9 months of experience driving a tractor-trailer combination vehicle.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
