Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Navigator to join our team at Cooper University Health Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient care and access to our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care plans with primary care physicians and specialists to ensure timely and effective treatment.
  • Verify insurance coverage and demographic information to ensure accurate billing and patient care.
  • Collect and process patient payments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist patients and families in obtaining referrals to specialists and community resources as needed.
  • Communicate with multidisciplinary teams to provide well-coordinated care and support.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-volume ambulatory medical practice, emergency department, or hospital admissions.
  • A high school diploma is required; some college education is preferred.
