We are seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the State of Nebraska. As a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide therapy to adult patients with mental illness at Lincoln Regional Center, a Joint-Commission accredited state psychiatric hospital.
Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group therapy according to the individual treatment plan.
- Share clinical observations with the treatment team.
- Compile patient individual and group progress notes, documenting according to LRC Standards and DHHS/LRC policies and procedures.
- Prepare for interdisciplinary treatment planning, actively participate in treatment planning and contribute therapist perspective and recommendations.
- Participate in team and or clinical meetings to address program concerns and needs.
- Participate in performance improvement.
- Attend and participates in program planning committees, in-service training and monthly LMHP department meetings.
- Present and participate in peer reviews to demonstrate competency.
- Behavioral Health Practitioner IV: State of Nebraska licenses as Mental Health Practitioner and Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Behavioral Health Practitioner III: Nebraska license as Mental Health Practitioner or Nebraska license as Alcohol and Drug Counselor AND Nebraska Provisional License as Mental Health Practitioner or Nebraska Provisional License as Alcohol and Drug Counselor.
- Behavioral Health Practitioner II: Nebraska License as Mental Health Practitioner.
- Behavioral Health Practitioner I: Provisional license to practice as a mental health practitioner in Nebraska.
