Job Summary:

This is a part-time position responsible for performing custodial duties and grounds maintenance activities at the Community Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility, performing maintenance duties, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and safety of the premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleans and maintains the Community Center, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting floors, windows, and air vents.
  • Performs maintenance duties, such as replacing light bulbs, repairing tables and equipment, and notifying supervisors of major repairs needed.
  • Empties, cleans, and sanitizes waste receptacles inside and outside the facility.
  • Cleans and dusts glass windows and air vents, and changes air vents as needed.
  • Cleans restrooms and replenishes necessary supplies, and cleans and sanitizes equipment.
  • Sweeps and mops floors, vacuums carpeted areas, buffs, strips, and waxes hard surface floors as needed.
Requirements:
  • One (1) year of experience in general or manual labor.
  • Ability to work regular and irregular work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and to be recalled to work for emergency and non-emergency reasons.
  • Valid Arkansas Driver's License (if operating a City pool automobile).
