We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Institute Scheduling Expert to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating schedules for patients undergoing surgery, tests, and medical clearance. Your expertise will ensure that all procedures run smoothly and efficiently.

About the Position:

  1. Coordinate patient schedules for surgery, tests, and medical clearance.
  2. Evaluate patient medical histories and medication lists to determine pre-operative testing requirements.
  3. Communicate with physicians regarding any potential medical/surgical risks identified.
  4. Oversee the completion of facility paperwork and patient instructions.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of prior surgery scheduling experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in computer software applications, including Practice Management and Word Processing systems.
