Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Effectively fit and educate patients on durable medical equipment (DME) as per physician instructions and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Provide comprehensive education on product application, use, care, and expected outcomes.
  • Educate patients on insurance plans, financial responsibilities, and collection of patient portions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for payer requirements, standard operating procedures, and compliance standards.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related medical experience preferred.
  • Licensed or certified in a relevant field, such as Athletic Trainer, Certified Orthotic Fitter, or Physical Therapy Tech.
