About the Position

The Community Care Specialist will work closely with clients to provide individualized support, connect them with community resources, and empower them to achieve their goals. Key responsibilities include developing and delivering psycho-educational groups, providing crisis intervention, and promoting professional relationships with agency staff and community partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Services: Develop and deliver psycho-educational groups, provide crisis intervention, and connect clients with community resources.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate records, research and write grant reports, and participate in the Quality Assurance process.
  • Collaboration: Foster partnerships with community organizations, promote professional relationships with agency staff, and engage in public speaking and media requests.
  • Professional Growth: Stay informed of best practices, attend training, and maintain licensure and certifications as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Experience working with victims or in human services preferred
  • Spanish-speaking a plus
