Position: Automotive Service Specialist

Compensation: Competitive salary range based on expertise, experience, and dealership performance

Schedule: Full Time

Automotive Service Specialist Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Completes tasks outlined on repair orders with precision and efficiency, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Identifies the root cause of most issues and executes repairs
  • Inspects assigned vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is necessary
  • Collaborates effectively with the parts department to secure required components
  • Communicates with the service advisor regarding any additional recommended work
  • Accurately records all work performed and suggested on the repair order
  • Conducts road tests on vehicles as needed
  • Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all information provided in manufacturer technical bulletins
  • Ensures that the customer's vehicle is kept in pristine condition
  • Keeps a tidy work environment
  • Utilizes all tools and equipment safely
Must possess basic tools
Must hold a valid NYS Inspectors License
