Job Title: General Service Technician

At Icahn Automotive Group LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Service Technician to join our team. As a General Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing basic automotive services, including tire mounting and balancing, tire repairs, oil changes, vehicle inspections, and other technical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair basic automotive issues, including brakes, alignments, suspensions, cooling, and electrical systems.
  • Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay up-to-date with rapidly changing automotive technology.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing engine oil and filters, installing and maintaining tires, and checking starting and charging systems.
  • Assist fellow technicians and mechanics in performing technical activities and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, safety, and environmental rules.
Requirements:
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Passion for a career as a technician in the automotive industry.
  • Eager to learn and competitive drive to succeed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Availability to work days, nights, holidays, and weekends as needed.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check.

  • Extensive standing, walking, pushing, and reaching.
  • Need full range of motion for reaching, bending, and stooping.

  • May drive a vehicle if needed.
  • Frequent lifting of heavy equipment over 100 pounds is required.
  • May work outside and be exposed to weather.
  • Exposure to adverse weather conditions, chemicals, odors, dirt, and dust.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The pay range for this position is between $15.00 and $19.80 per hour based on experience.
