About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Complex Litigation Attorney to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our litigation practice, you'll be responsible for managing and overseeing complex cases from inception to final resolution.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage complex litigation cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to identify potential issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Draft, review, and revise legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, advocating on their behalf and providing sound legal advice.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient case management and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular case updates and expert guidance.
  • Participate in business development activities to attract new clients and grow our complex litigation practice.
Requirements
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex litigation, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive documents.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven ability to negotiate favorable settlements.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
