Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Scheduling and canceling patient appointments with precision and efficiency.
  • Checking-in and checking-out patients with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Entering charges and payments accurately and timely.
  • Answering telephone calls with a positive and helpful demeanor.
  • Verifying patient insurance and demographics with attention to detail.
  • Collecting co-payments/coinsurance and personal balances in a courteous and respectful manner.
Requirements

To be successful as a Medical Assistant, you will need:

  • One year of experience in a medical setting or direct clinical patient care.
  • A certification in Medical Assisting such as NCRMA or RMA.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
