Job Title: Medical Assistant Specialist

Overview: Healing Companion Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our physicians in delivering exceptional medical services.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.

Responsibilities include:
  • Administering injections, immunizations, and other medical procedures under the supervision of a physician.
  • Conducting thorough patient interviews and physical examinations to assess their health status.
  • Providing counsel and medical treatment to patients while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Educating patients on overall wellness and health maintenance strategies.
  • Developing and implementing individualized patient management plans.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines.

Qualifications: We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as a physician assistant or in a related medical field. Familiarity with medical tools and equipment is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to build rapport with patients and colleagues. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs) such as ClinicalWorks is a plus.
