Position Summary:

Calo Companies is seeking a skilled Water Transport Operator to manage operations at our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a specialized vehicle equipped with a water dispersal system to mitigate dust on surfaces and ensure optimal conditions for compaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and navigate the water transport vehicle throughout the designated area
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and routine maintenance on the vehicle
  • Ensure the vehicle is stocked with all necessary tools and equipment
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the vehicle
  • Promptly report any mechanical issues or incidents to management
  • Maintain effective communication with team members and supervisors
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to vehicle operation
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • A valid Driver's License
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as climbing in and out of the vehicle, lifting hoses, and executing basic maintenance
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders
  • Familiarity with safety regulations pertaining to vehicle operation is advantageous
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays as necessary
  • A willingness to undertake additional responsibilities as needed
