  • Kaiser Permanente retains the right to review and modify job descriptions and employment status as necessary, with prior notification to affected staff.
QualificationsExperience:
  • A minimum of two (2) years of post-licensure experience in a psychiatric treatment setting, working under licensed supervision.
Education:
  • A Master’s degree in applied behavioral science is required.
Licensure:
  • Must hold a valid Marriage and Family Therapist license (California) or equivalent licensure as a Clinical Social Worker or Professional Clinical Counselor.
  • A National Provider Identifier is required upon hire.
Additional Requirements
  • Familiarity with state regulations concerning ethics, treatment protocols, patient rights, and confidentiality is essential.
  • If licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor, completion of couples and families training is required within two (2) years of employment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
