Job Summary

This is a 13-week travel assignment for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in a fast-paced radiology department. The ideal candidate will have excellent clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures, including imaging and testing, to diagnose and treat patients.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Develop and implement patient care plans, taking into account individual needs and medical histories.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) or Registered Technologist (RT).
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine, preferably in a travel or per diem setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
