Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Beloit Health System. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and within the policies, values, and mission of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy procedures, including general and cardiac nuclear medicine and PET scanning.
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners.
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals, following established protocols and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure optimal imaging and therapy outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technologist program.
  • Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or certified as a Technologist (RT) and certified in nuclear medicine (NM) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • A minimum of one year experience desired, but will consider new graduates.
  • Ability to work a variable shift between 6a and 5p and a call rotation to cover weekends and holidays.
