Key Responsibilities:
- EH&S Support: Provide EH&S support to operational areas within industrial and commercial facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our clients.
- Safety Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, test, and maintain safety equipment per manufacturer's requirements and document service according to TSUS/customer policies and procedures.
- Inventory Management: Assist in stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready-to-use equipment and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with others and build rapport with customers quickly.
- Training and Development: Train less experienced technicians and receive training from senior staff.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and care of assigned vehicle and/or trailer.
- Operational Support: Assist others in facility, including stocking shelves with clean, tested, and ready-to-use equipment and pulling, staging, and loading customer orders onto trucks for delivery.
Requirements:
- Field Experience: At least six months of field experience in fire protection, petrochemical, oil refinery, or related industry.
- Education: Associates degree, technical or military training strongly preferred.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of all regulatory standards pertaining to assigned responsibilities, i.e., State, OSHA, and NFPA regulations, etc.
- Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license from state of residence and valid proof of vehicle insurance.
- Forklift Experience: Forklift experience preferred. Must have ability to pass internal forklift certification as required.
- Manufacturer's Certification: Must have the ability to obtain a minimum of one manufacturer's certification within six months of employment.
- PPE Proficiency: Proficiency in the care and use of all sites-specific, facility, and customer-required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Working Environment:
- Plant Environment: Frequently exposed to wet, humid, outside weather conditions and vibration. Works in customer environments. May be exposed to high pressure, chemicals, and plant traffic.
- Physical Demands: Able to work at various heights, exposed to heat, cold, dust, fumes, or gases, and changes of weather.
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma: High School Diploma or equivalent.
