Job Summary:

Powers Health is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures at a technical level, requiring minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic procedures using MRI equipment
  • Operate and maintain MRI equipment
  • Develop and implement scanning protocols
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology
  • Certified by an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred
  • Licensure by the State Board of Health must be obtained and kept current
  • One year specialized training/experience in MRI theory and scanning procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred Magnetic Resonance Imaging Certification by the ARRT (MR)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for examinations
