Job Summary

Volunteer Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Chattanooga, TN. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing essential medication management services to individuals with mental health diagnoses. Your day will revolve around administering prescribed medications, monitoring patients' vital signs and health progress, and ensuring accurate medical records are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer prescribed medications, including injections
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and health progress
  • Maintain accurate medical records
  • Act as a liaison with outside providers
  • Assist with patient advocacy and medication education

Work Environment:

Our Licensed Practical Nurses work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 am to 5 pm. This structure ensures you have evenings and weekends free, providing a great work-life balance.

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee without any restrictions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
