Responsibilities
  • Provide licensed practical nursing care to patients, including administering medication, taking vital signs, and monitoring side effects.
  • Assist patients with daily living activities, such as bathing and feeding.
  • Document patient information, including assessments, care, and education provided.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and secure inventory of healthcare supplies.
Requirements
  • Currently licensed as a practical nurse with the State of Tennessee or holds a privilege to practice in the State of Tennessee under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • A valid motor vehicle operator license may be required.
  • Ability to work days, evenings, nights, and/or weekends.
Competencies
  • Knowledge of principles of nursing, nursing practices, techniques, and applicable laws.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
