Job Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Occupational Therapy Assistant Professor to join our faculty team at Brookline College in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Job Summary:

The Occupational Therapy Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching occupational therapy assistant students in a hybrid program. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy and experience in teaching and curriculum development.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach occupational therapy assistant courses in a hybrid program
  • Develop and implement curriculum for occupational therapy assistant students
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback
  • Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to departmental decisions
  • Engage in professional development and stay current with industry trends
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in occupational therapy or a related field
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in New Mexico
  • Three years of practical experience in occupational therapy
  • Documented expertise in teaching and curriculum development
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas
  • Experience with distance education and online teaching
