Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of students
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide direct instruction, assessment, and intervention to students with special needs
  • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure student progress and success
Requirements
  • Active Special Education Teaching license in Washington
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in special education teaching
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
