Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Short-Term and Long-Term Scheduling: Plan and manage short-term and long-term production schedules based on customer orders and desired inventory levels.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping teams to ensure production schedules meet critical deadlines.
  • Process Improvement: Review production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency.
  • Data Analysis: Consolidate multiple reports into a by-order shipment projection and analyze data to make recommendations for action.
  • Reporting and Labeling: Organize and provide daily production forms and release labels.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of production scheduling experience in a related industry.
  • Technical Skills: Excellent computer skills, expert at MS Excel, and good math skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Ability to multitask, provide quick responses to production problems, and work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Familiarity with Lean 6 Sigma principles and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Manufacturing Experience: Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably with knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma principles.
