Job Opportunity

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Scientist Intern to join our Advanced Technologies Group (ATG) at Promega. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on cutting-edge bioluminescent technologies and contribute to the development of innovative tools for life science research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our team of scientists to explore and optimize luminescent technologies.
  • Work closely with team members from diverse scientific disciplines to integrate and apply bioluminescent technologies across various applications.
  • Present findings and progress to the broader team, honing your communication and analytical skills in a collaborative setting.
  • Demonstrate inclusion and respect for others through your words and actions.
  • Embrace and apply Promega's 6 Emotional & Social Intelligence (ESI) core principles in daily work.
  • Understand and comply with ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements applicable to our business.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, bioengineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a passion for scientific innovation and discovery.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a desire to learn from and contribute to a collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior research experience in biochemistry or a related field.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to work at a lab bench or fume hood for extended periods.
  • Ability to wear protection gear (gloves, lab coat, safety glasses, etc.).
  • Ability to use a computer and Microsoft Office applications.
